Is Spit reeeeally natural?
Spit uses the natural antibacterial properties of Tea Tree oil and very little else to ensure you’re healing harnesses the power of the Mother herself, nature. Added bonus – tea tree oil smells heavenly!
What ingredients do you use?
Our products do not contain any lanolin, petroleum, fruit acids, alcohol (we’d rather drink that!) or AHA’s, synthetic products or fragrances other than that sweet, sweet natural bush aroma from our ingredients.
Where do you source the ingredients?
All ingredients are ethically sourced and fair trade that are sourced and manufactured right here in Australia.
Is Spit Vegan?
We don’t test our products or ingredients on animals. Although, we are sorry to the mozzies that sacrificed their lives during our trial for Tea Tree oil as an insect repellent…
Does the hand wash contain soap?
N to the O – NO. Our hand wash is based on potassium solids and soap is not thrown into the mix at any point.
How often should I use it?
We suggest washing your hands and applying Spit Balm 2-3 times a day, particularly when your tatt starts to scab.
Can I use Spit for anything else?
Ab-so-lutely! Keep some Spit Balm in your surfing kit, camping and fishing bag and in the bathroom cupboard to whip out whenever you’ve got surface skin abrasions or small wounds. So handy. So Spit.
